The gallery at The ART SHOP on the first floor ART HOTEL Ishigakijima regularly hosts exhibitions showcasing the island's art and culture.
Starting November 13th (Friday), we will be holding the "Island Handicrafts Exhibition".
The island's handcrafts have been carefully cultivated through a cycle of tradition and innovation, while constantly engaging with the way of life.
We will introduce "Yachimun (Okinawan Pottery) (pottery) made while feeling the local climate and culture of Yaeyama, as well as "folk tools made from island materials" that are an integral part of daily life.
Please come and see the special exhibition at ART HOTEL Ishigakijima a gallery shop that offers something you can enjoy looking at and be happy to buy.
