Summer vacation "hands-on crafting" workshops begin on July 17th.

Summer vacation is finally here! ART HOTEL Ishigakijima will be hosting daily "craftsmanship" workshops in a special venue in the first-floor lobby from July 17th to August 31st during the summer vacation period.

Turn exciting experiences into travel memories.

We have prepared hands-on crafting experiences that both children and adults can enjoy together. Let's create lots of wonderful memories of Ishigaki Island as a family!

Summer Vacation Crafting Experience

Date and Time	July 17th (Friday) – August 31st (Monday), 2026 18:00 - 21:00 (First-come, first-served basis; last entry at 20:30)
Location	Special venue in the hotel lobby on the first floor
	The experience fee can be charged to your room. The experience menu changes depending on the day of the week.

Held every Tuesday and Thursday

Resin art(Estimated time: approx. 30-90 minutes)

Draw the ocean, then use a heat gun on the poured resin...and you can instantly create whitecaps!

Sea creature keychain: 3,500 yen / A4 panel: 7,000 yen / A5 panel: 6,000 yen / Clock (round, turtle): 16,000 yen / Large pair of Shisa statues: 16,000 yen / Small pair of Shisa statues: 15,000 yen

*The finished product will be handed over after the resin has been dried. Please confirm the handover time during your experience.

Held every Sunday and Friday

Painting Shisa statues(estimated time: approximately 60 minutes)
Choose your favorite Shisa and color it however you like.
Extra-large pair of Shisa statues: 5,900 yen / Pair of Shisa statues: 4,900 yen / Dolphin: 3,200 yen

*Since paint will be used, please wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.

Held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday

Acrylic keychain(Estimated time: approx. 15-30 minutes)
Choose your favorite shape and parts! We'll color them with resin.
1 piece: 2,000 yen. Additional parts: +100 yen each.

Acrylic Shisa Stand(Estimated time: 15-30 minutes)
Let's create a one-of-a-kind original Shisa!
Single item: 3,500 yen / Pair: 5,500 yen

Minsar Keychain(Estimated time: approx. 15-20 minutes)
We'll create a "Minsar" pattern by wrapping it with colorful craft yarn.
1 piece: 1,800 yen

Angel's Pearl Pendant/Netsuke(Estimated time: approx. 10 minutes)
Remove the pearl and attach it to the base.
Netsuke: 3,000 yen / Pendant: 4,500 yen
